The Peacock is a well-placed pub, perfectly located in the heart of Stannington. Following our recent refurbishment to a new, modern look, we have some big relaxing spaces and snug fireside corners for everyone to enjoy.
We have a great range of pub classics, homemade dishes and a fully stocked bar with everything from cask ales to premium gins. The Peacock is perfectly positioned between beautiful walking routes, making us the ideal place for you to refuel after your scenic walk.

Murder Mystery Night
Something’s brewing at The Peacock – and it isn’t just the drinks! Join us on Saturday 17 October for an entertaining evening of mystery, intrigue and delicious food. Can you follow the clues and uncover the culprit?
Tickets are £50 per person, including a three-course meal and welcome drink. Doors open at 6.30pm, with the event beginning at 7pm.
Tickets are available from behind the bar and can also be purchased over the phone or by emailing Peacock@mustarfpubs.co.uk.

We are only a short 5 minute drive away from River Loxley, the perfect location for a scenic walk and fresh air. The Damflask reservoir is also a short distance away and is a great destination if you love a spot of fishing.
If football is more your thing, the Hillsborough Stadium is only a 2-mile drive away. Home to Sheffield Wednesday F.C, this stadium opened in 1899 and can host 39,734 people at full capacity and with us only being a short distance away, we are an ideal spot for some post-match fuel!
